How to Order

Crated weight: 300 lbs.

Soapstone sinks may sound like a new concept to you but they have been in homes for the past 200 years. Many homes in New England have 100+ year old soapstone sinks or laundry tubs in use.

We start with a slab of soapstone and machine it into the individual parts of your sink. These parts are then assembled using a special glue. Unlike antique soapstone sinks, these sinks are constructed with a bottom that slopes to the drain. All sinks are manufactured for ISE disposal or Chicago Specialty’s Spin and Lock basket strainer.

Custom sizes available. Drain locations can be customized to your specifications.

See additional photo #4 for care and maintenance.

Prices include Crating Fee.

More about Sinks Gallery Soapstone

Our soapstone sinks come from the nation's leading fabricator of soapstone sinks for over 100 years. These incredible and unique sinks have been featured on television programs such as "This Old House" and "Martha Stewart Living". While their products are often duplicated, their craftsmanship is not. They are simply the best soapstone artisans we know of in North America.

Soapstone is the stone-of-choice for luxury kitchen and bathroom installations. It is a metamorphic stone with a soft, warm feel. It is resistant to chemicals, acid, water, and heat. In the kitchen we've found no foods that will stain it. You may take hot pots off the stove and sit them right on the stone without burning it. The stone has a bluish-gray cast when mined. Once it is treated with mineral oil the color deepens to its more typical rich, veined, charcoal gray.
