Standard basins have a tumbled stone interior/exterior. Also available in a polished or honed interior/exterior.
All basins ship with a Certificate of Authenticity, Guarantee and Stone Legend enveloped in handmade paper tied with turquoise beads.

Gem Basins are made by the world's largest manufacturer of semi-precious stone re-fashioned for large scale jewelry production. The company has developed a process in which basins and bowls are made with natural semi-precious minerals.
The Gem Basins are made with semi-precious stone to form a one-of-a-kind jewel displaying the brilliant hues of color found in Mother Nature. Just as all stone patterns are unique in nature, the color variations and matrix patterns in their vessels are also unique unto themselves.
One solid piece of gemstone rough large enough to sculpt an entire vessel from is very rare and extremely valuable. Therefore, the studio imports semi-precious rough gemstone ore which is then pulverized into ultra-fine particles, cleaned and purified. Using a process that has taken two decades to perfect, the gemstone is combined with other natural ores and pigments under extreme pressure. Acrylic gem resins bind the gemstone particles re-creating the hardness and structural integrity. Finally, the studio artisans using diamond-impregnated lapidary tools sculpt, shape, and hand polish each gemstone vessel creating a truly unique work of gemstone art.
