The Shrill (black shown) is the second in a series of lavatories designed by artist Christina Greco. Named after sounds, each sink is hand carved from a solid block of fossil stone that has been quarried in the Sahara Desert. The Orthoceras, Ammonites,and Goniatites in these stones are very prolific and range from very small to 4” long. They are approximately 350-470 million years old. The colours range from dark grey to a beige color in others.
