Glass Sink Guide

Our Artisan Crafted Glass Sinks

For over 20 years, Artisan Crafted has been selling the largest selection of artisan made glass sinks found anywhere in North America.  In that time, we have seen cheap mass produced import "knockoffs" flood the market but there is no comparison to the "real thing".  We have our own in-house glass artisan and also work with dozens of other artisans who use a variety of glass-making techniques to produce functional art at the highest level.  Elegant, sophisticated and versatile, glass sinks are available in a wide variety of colors, shapes, sizes and styles. Whether your aesthetic leans toward stark modern designs or warm traditional flavors, rest assured there is a glass sink to suit your preference and complete your space.

What also separates Artisan Crafted from many of our showroom competitors is the fact that we don’t deal in production products. The glass sinks featured are individually crafted by professional artists who are well-versed in the design/creation process.  Most of our sinks are made-to-order and we do a great deal of custom sizes and colors.  If you want a sink created specifically for your project, you have found the right place!

Our collection of hand-blown glass sinks are made by World-renown glass artists like Suzanne Guttman and Robert Jones - just a few of the dozens of artisans who lend their talents to our exclusive collection. Thus, individuals who purchase hand-blown glass vessels from Artisan Crafted are not only buying a functional basin but a custom-made work of art.  Your handcrafted glass sink will become the focal point of your bath or powder room!  Add to this our capability in glass lighting and you have found the only company we are aware of that can help you coordinate an artisan glass sink with coordinating lighting - all made to your specifications.

Our artists incorporate old world glass making techniques. Many vessels are hand blown (sometimes referred to as "freehand"), something not generally found in most showrooms. Other glass artists utilize a process known as "slumping & fusing". Time consuming and painstaking, this process consists of fusing together different pieces of glass (creating various patterns and colors). Only once all the pieces of glass have been fused together to create a solid sheet can that sheet be slumped into the desired vessel shape.

At Artisan Crafted, our dedication to quality and ideal design in decorative glass sinks is one of the many reasons we stand above the rest.
